The mountains are the curriculum

We sit at 2,337 feet in the Kootenai Valley with the Selkirks on one side and the Cabinets on the other. Density altitude is real here. So is mountain wave, valley fog, and weather that changes while you're in the run-up. Students learn to read all of it in airspace quiet enough to make mistakes safely — and busier airspace is a short flight away when they're ready for it.

Pilots who train here tend to find flying elsewhere straightforward. That is the whole idea.
